MPPP (Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol)
Multilink Point-to-Point Protocol is an extension of Point-to-Point
Protocol that allows simultaneous multiple parallel connections between
computers. MPPP combines the bandwidth of the connections to create a larger
virtual link with a concomitant higher data rate.
One of the practical effects of MPPP is to combine two 64 kb/s ISDN lines to
provide an effective speed up to 128 kb/s.
